We really can’t say enough about the contributions of African Americans to this great nation, as well as for many of the comforts we enjoy every day.
My children’s books series will introduce some of those inventors and scientists. I will also share the importance of learning and teaching our children a more complete version of our American/U.S. History.
Let’s have some fun learning about folks you may have never heard of and/ or about their inventions or improvements or contributions to tons of science, technology, engineering and medicine discoveries.
I’m gonna give it to you in small doses weekly. So stay tuned and let’s have some fun sharing with our children and teachers what they don’t know they don’t know.
Teachers can’t teach what they don’t know.
Children can’t ask to be taught what they don’t know to ask about.
Like Bonnie Raite says “Let’s give them something to talk about…”
So, you’ll continue to see some good stuff in small doses. Some early history folks and some current folks with a few surprises sprinkled in every now and then.
