I’m getting excited! No I am excited! My crowdfunding campaign via IndieGoGo will start June 19th. This is a new and exciting project for me. This successful project will enable me to market, market, market my children’s book series, Just Imagine…What if there were No Black People in the World! to as many children and teachers that I can. Along with the book, there is an ebook, workbook with puzzles, coloring book and journal. I thought these tools would help children remember the Black inventor and scientists and also assist teachers with incorporating Black history into their curriculum. As you know, American History school books are not a “tell all” unfortunately. Too much good stuff is left out. I can’t say enough times why teaching Black History, all year, is important to all children. Black children especially because their history is not told in a manner that gives them the feeling of “Wow” or “A Black person did that!” or “I want to be like him” or “He looks like me!” and so on.
You know, Albert Einstein said a mouth full when he said: (read his poster)
You certainly can’t argue with that! Another reason why he was a genius. He actually had some common sense.
